Introducing the 2023 Year-In-Review Compendiums

The Brooks Institute is excited to announce the release of a brand new annual resource from the Brooks Animal Law Digest. The 2023 United States and Canada Year-in-Review Compendiums offer a curated, comprehensive view of developments in animal law and policy over the past calendar year as covered in the Digests.

The Compendiums are a compilation of summarized and significant developments meant to guide and initiate further inquiry and research. They are organized chronologically within each section based on the date of the weekly Digest issue that reported the event.

These Compendiums can be utilized as research tools for the animal law community and the general public, especially as a reference for studying trends and changes over time in the practice and application of animal law. The Brooks Institute published their inaugural 2023 Compendiums with the assistance of their Digest editorial teams at the Brooks McCormick Jr. Animal Law & Policy Program at Harvard Law School (US) and the University of Toronto Faculty of Law (CA).
