The Brooks Institute for Animal Rights Law and Policy, Inc. is a think-and-do tank pursuing a paradigm shift in human responsibility towards, and value of, nonhuman animals by advancing animal law, animal policy, and related interdisciplinary studies.
Perspectives:
  • Independence: The uniqueness of the Brooks Institute is its independence and capabilities to create new intelligence and collaborations.

  • Rights: For us, rights mean there is an obligation that animals’ well-being (whether species, group wide, or individually) should be considered morally, legally, and ethically.

  • Innovation: Failure, for us, is not trying something new and innovative.
