The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) announced that it is withdrawing its December 19, 2019, “not-warranted” finding for the north Oregon coast distinct population segment (DPS) of red tree vole under the Endangered Species Act. FWS is returning the north Oregon coast DPS of red tree vole to its candidate list and will accept public comments on its potential listing status through November 18, 2022.
