The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) denied a petition for rulemaking submitted by the Center for Biological Diversity and the Center for Food Safety in which petitioners, joined by twelve members of Congress, urged FWS to prohibit the use of agricultural pesticides on national wildlife refuges.
