Massachusetts Senate Bill 2993 would further regulate the enforcement of illegal hunting practices. The bill enumerates various levels of penalties for violations and also requires that wildlife sanctuary land be posted as such in a conspicuous manner “at intervals of not greater than 300 feet in distance along the borders of the land.” The bill has been referred to the Senate Ways and Means Committee.
