The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) published notice that BBC Broadcasting has applied for a Marine Mammal Protection Act permit to conduct commercial and educational photography of bottlenose dolphins off the coast of South Carolina. NMFS is accepting public comments on the application through August 4, 2022.
