The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall of 9,370 pounds of Siluriformes (a family of fish including catfish) products that were improperly imported from China by California-based Yumei Foods USA, Inc. China is ineligible to export processed Siluriformes products to the United States.
