National Marine Fisheries Service Authorizes Harm and Harassment of Marine Mammals During Navy Pier Construction Project

The National Marine Fisheries Service announced that it has issued an incidental harassment authorization (IHA) to the Department of the Navy to take marine mammals incidental to pile driving associated with the replacement of a pier at Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, Virginia. The IHA is effective from April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023.
