The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) has received an application from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) for an incidental take permit under the Endangered Species Act. The permit would authorize LADWP to harm and harass endangered California condors incidental to operation of the Pine Tree Wind Farm. FWS is accepting public comments on the permit application through March 21, 2022.
