The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced availability of a draft management plan for the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary in the Gulf of Maine. The draft plan includes updates to the existing 2021 management plan that address current and emerging threats based on best available scientific data. The public comment period is open through January 21, 2022, and NOAA is hosting virtual public meetings on January 11 and 12, 2022.
