Maine Governor Janet Mills has signed into law Legislative Document 103 which allows for the employment of a person to assist in a response to a natural or man-made disaster affecting animals; requires that all dogs over 3 months of age be vaccinated for rabies; forbids dogs labeled as “dangerous” or “nuisance” from being licensed online; provides for the revocation of animal control officer certification; and defines “animal care facility.”
