The Executive Committee oversees the operating committees as well as advises the officers and Board of Trustees regarding strategic planning, project implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The Executive Committee is comprised of the Institute’s Trustees, President, chairpersons of the operating committees, and select ad hoc members.
Gregory W. Osko, MBA
Gregory Osko is the founder and chairman of the Trust Company of Illinois and the administrative trustee of the Brooks Institute Trust.
Mr. Osko brings more than 40 years of experience serving the financial needs of families to his role at the Brooks Institute.
Timothy S. Midura, C.P.A., J.D., LL.M.
Timothy Midura is a licensed attorney and registered certified public accountant who brings more than 25 years of legal expertise, including research, writing, and presenting, to his role at the Brooks Institute. He has served on a number of boards of non-profit and professional organizations. Mr. Midura pursues continuing education with a passion and is in a continuous ‘listening tour’ of the animal protection movement.Justin Marceau
Justin F. Marceau is a Professor of Law and the Animal Legal Defense Fund Professor.
Prior to coming to the University of Denver Law School, Marceau was an assistant federal public defender specializing in capital habeas and a law clerk for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Before law school he spent a year living and working in Cairo, Egypt.
Kristen Stilt
Kristen Stilt is a Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. She also serves as Faculty Director of the Animal Law & Policy Program, Director of the Islamic Legal Studies Program, and is a Deputy Dean. Stilt was named a Carnegie Scholar for her work on Constitutional Islam, and in 2013 she was awarded a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship. Her research focuses on animal law, and in particular the intersection of animal law and religious law; Islamic law and society; and comparative constitutional law.
