Animal Welfare Institute's marine mammal scientist, Dr. Naomi Rose, will be presenting a webinar about captive beluga and orca welfare for the National Biodiversity Teach-In on Thursday, February 11, at 3:00 p.m. ET.

This talk will cover the various aspects of captive enclosures and how orcas (also known as killer whales) are maintained in marine theme parks and aquariums that have a negative impact on their welfare.
