APC Policy Clinic
Policy advocacy plays an important role in animal protection work. There are diverse ways in which organizations can collaborate with one another, with their governments and with intergovernmental organizations to advocate for the betterment of animal welfare. However, engaging in policy is a formidable task requiring deep understanding of current trends, customized strategies, strong partnerships and sound skills. Knowing that there is a need for a platform for experts and organizations to share their skills in this field, we created the Policy Clinic. The AfA Policy Coalition (APC) aims to provide a common space for advocates with extensive experience to share lessons learned and best practice to help elevate capacity for interested organizations.
With that in mind, we are happy to announce that the AfA Policy Coalition (APC) is launching three virtual events this year, under the name ‘AfA Policy Clinic - the Essentials for Your Advocacy Works in Asia’. The next event will take place on September 8, 2023.
