Taking Action for Animals (TAFA) brings together Humane Society of the United States volunteers, advocates and animal welfare organizations from across the country for one shared goal: to better the lives of animals and people alike.  TAFA is a conference where attendees can come together and learn not only how to strategically work for a more humane world, but also how to talk with legislators. For TAFA 2023, we’ll be in Springfield, Illinois, August 4-6, and will be diving deep into major issues like the use of captive wildlife in “fashion” and “entertainment” and stopping puppy mills.
