An installment in the “Canadian History and Environment Series,” these essays from historians interested in animals grew out of a 2018 exhibit at the Archives of Ontario called ANIMALIA: Animals in the Archives. Chapters deal with (among other topics) horses, greyhound race dogs, honeybee labor, fur trapping by the Hudson’s Bay Company, and the llama diaspora from South America.
