Publication Year
2023
Description
The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Agriculture in opposition to a proposed rule that would allow the import of fresh beef from Paraguay. The two trade groups oppose competition for U.S. producers and suggest that such imports would pose too great a risk of Foot and Mouth Disease for U.S. cattle.
