Description
Senate Bill 1020, the “Livestock Consolidation Research Act,” would require the Administrator of the Economic Research Service to conduct research on consolidation and concentration in the livestock industry. The bill was introduced by Senator Tina Smith and has been referred to the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.
