DEPARTMENT OF LABOR: Temporary Agricultural Employment of H-2A Nonimmigrants in the United States

The Department of Labor has finalized a rule that requires farms to improve the working conditions of farmworkers on H-2A agricultural visas. The rule also expands the authority of the federal government to prevent abusive practices of employers in the agricultural sector.
