CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY v. U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE; MARTHA WILLIAMS, in her official capacity as Principal Deputy Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; DEBRA HAALAND

The Center for Biological Diversity has filed suit against the Fish and Wildlife Service challenging the agency’s decision not to list the Clear Lake hitch under the Endangered Species Act. The Clear Lake hitch is a large, freshwater minnow in California that is native to the oldest lake in North America and a species the Center argues is both ecologically and culturally significant.
