UK Centre for Animal Law: Third Annual Animal Law, Ethics, and Policy Conference

We invite you to join UK Centre for Animal Law for their third Animal Law, Policy and Ethics Conference. This will be a virtual conference.

  • Kathy Hessler, Law Faculty, Lewis & Clark - Wrapping up conference: moving forward with compassion.
  • Ian Robertson, Director and Co-Founder of the Sentience Animal Law Foundation 

Conference Aims:

  • To bring to together leading animal law academics, practitioners in the field of animal welfare and research students to share ideas and develop networks in this fast developing area of law
  • To examine the interface of law, ethics and the developing academic discipline Animal Law in the UK and elsewhere
  • To explore how ethics affect the practical implementation of policy and law in practice
  • To share good practice in the teaching and scholarship of Animal Law and Ethics including experience in setting up and running such courses
