The Nova Scotia’s Agriculture Department has announced a vaccination program to immunize the mink in provincial fur farms. The funding for the program will be split between the provincial and federal government. The program has been approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, which granted permission to import the experimental vaccines from the US. Read more here.
