Cedar Valley Farms’ license has been suspended by the British Columbia Milk Marketing Board (BC Milk) following allegations of animal abuse. The BC SPCA reviewed over 300 videos taken from the facility, and brought them to the attention of BC Milk. Following an inspection by BC Milk, the license was suspended after concluding that the facility was violating the Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Dairy Cattle. The BC SPCA is preparing their evidence for Crown review. Read the BC Milk release here, and more here.
