Kentucky Ag-Gag Bill Would Criminalize Use of Drones On or Above CAFOs and Food Processing Facilities and Recording or Photographing of Those Properties

Kentucky House Bill 45 would criminalize the use of “unmanned aircraft, video recording device, audio recording device, or photography equipment on or above property containing a concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) or commercial food manufacturing or processing facility.” The bill also would criminalize the recording or photographing of “any part, procedure, or action of [such operations or facilities].” The bill was referred to the House Committee on Committees.
