Environmental Survey Shows Cattle Grazing Has Caused Significant Damage to BLM’s San Pedro Riparian Conservation Area

A new survey prepared by the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) reports that cattle grazing has “significantly damaged” thirty-nine river miles surveyed in the Bureau of Land Management’s San Pedro Riparian Conservation Area, putting the area’s ecosystem and endangered species at risk. Moderate damage was documented on an additional 1.82 miles of the total 41.9 miles surveyed by CBD biologists.
