Missouri Bill Would Prohibit Localities from Banning Declawing and Other Veterinary Services

Missouri Senate Bill 115 would prohibit localities from enacting or enforcing any prohibition or limitation on the practice of veterinary medicine, such as the prohibitions on declawing that have been enacted in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County. The Senate passed the bill on March 30, 2023, and it now has been referred to the House Committee on Government Efficiency and Downsizing.
