The Environmental Protection Agency is considering reissuing a permit under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) to Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) in the state of Idaho. This permit allows the animal agriculture operations to discharge pollutants produced at the facility into the waters of the United States. The comment period is open until December 9, 2019.
