Evanger’s Dog and Cat Food Co. Inc. settled a class action filed against it by customers that claimed its products advertised as “human grade” were dangerous to companion animals. The settlement amounts to $545,000 that will go toward veterinarian bills of those whose cats or dogs were poisoned and partial reimbursement of the purchased products for other purchasers.
