Please join us for the next event in a series of online workshops organized by the Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law. The workshop 'Rabbits and Robots: Debating the Rights of Animals and Artificial Intelligences' will take place online on 2 June 2021.This workshop brings together leading international experts on the rights of non-human animals and the rights of robots and artificial intelligences. Presentations on the latest work of these scholars will be followed by a panel discussion in which members of the audience can engage with the speakers.
The keynote address by Mark Coeckelbergh (University of Vienna) on 'Is it acceptable to kick a robot dog? A relational approach to moral standing' will be followed by presentations from Kate Darling (MIT), Joshua Gellers (University of North Florida), and Tomasz Pietrzykowski (University of Silesia).
