ANIMAL LEGAL DEFENSE FUND vs. FOSTER POULTRY FARMS, a California corporation

File
Description

The Animal Legal Defense Fund has filed suit against Foster Poultry Farms, alleging that the company is using 3-4 million gallons of drinking water every day from a drought-hit region of California for use in its cruel “electric immobilization” practice. ALDF argues that this use is in violation of Section 2 of the California Constitution and prevents water from being put to its maximum beneficial use.
