Beyond Meat SEC Filing
Beyond Meat and Don Lee Farms entered into a confidential written settlement agreement to settle claims relating to two cases against Beyond Meat. One case, filed in California federal court, alleged that Beyond Meat falsely advertised that its “products provide ‘equal or superior protein’ as compared to real meat and that its products are free from ‘synthetic’ ingredients.” The other case, filed in California state court, concerned Beyond Meat’s termination of a co-manufacturing agreement with Don Lee Farms. According to their filing with the SEC, the settlement terms “did not have a material impact on Beyond Meat’s financial position or results of operations” and “[n]o party admitted liability or wrongdoing in connection with the settlement.”
