The leading national conference in the animal advocacy movement, Taking Action for Animals (TAFA) brings together volunteers and advocates from across the country for a shared goal: to better the lives of animals and people alike.
We're making progress toward ending the worst abuses of animals in the world, and the Humane Society of the United States is leading the charge with the help of savvy and engaged individuals who support stronger protections for animals. The need to end animal cruelty has become part of the national conversation and has even made its way into the presidential debates. Be part of this extraordinary movement on behalf of all animals. Come to Taking Action for Animals 2020 to gain the tools you need to protect animals in your own community.
Over the course of three and a half days, you will meet hundreds of like-minded animal advocates as keenly interested in protecting animals as you are. Take part in sessions where you will learn how to help end puppy mills, fur farms, factory farming and cosmetics testing on animals. Then on Monday, join us for Humane Lobby Day where you will have the chance to meet your federal legislators to discuss these important issues and urge their support for animal protection policy.
