Ag-Gag Litigation: Updates from the Field

Description

Join the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, American Constitution Society, and the Environmental & Energy Law Program for a conversation with three experts on recent updates and advances in the field of ag-gag litigation. Ag-gag laws seek to prohibit whistleblowers from reporting on and recording the conditions on factory farms. Our experts will discuss standing issues in bringing ag-gag cases, as well as, First Amendment concerns and how states are reacting to wins by animal welfare and free speech advocates.

Panelists

Litigation Director, David Muraskin, will join a panel alongside Sturm College of Law's Professor Alan Chan and Animal Legal Defense Fund's Kelsey Eberly on Ag-Gag laws.
